Nicky Corps


Managing Director / Engineering & Manufacturing Talent Specialist


After graduating from Southampton University with a Psychology degree in 2000, Nicky spent the next 9 years working for a successful independent Industrial and Driving agency. Starting her career as a Recruitment consultant, Nicky quickly progressed to Branch manager and finally to Area Manager.

Nicky made the decision to open her own recruitment agency in 2009 after recognising a gap in the market for a niche specialist Engineering and Technical consultancy.

Over the past 11 years Nicky has worked hard to establish a fantastic reputation as a leading Engineering, Technical and Professional talent acquisition company.


Nicky is responsible for the Engineering and Manufacturing division of Red Chilli Recruitment.

Additional Talents, Services and Qualifications:

In 2018 Nicky qualified as a Business Psychologist following successful completion of a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology at Leicester University. This has enabled Red Chilli Recruitment to work in partnership with its sister company PsychoRecruit Ltd, to offer additional valuable services to clients and candidates including psychometric testing, customised assessment design, talent attraction and retention strategies.

Nicky holds Fellowship in Recruitment Practice certification (FIRP) and is qualified in Psychometric Testing and is on the British Psychological Society (BPS) Register of  Qualified Test Users (RQTU). Nicky is also a member of the BPS and Association of Business Psychologists (MABP)

Nigel Betteridge


Service & Maintenance Engineering & Ex Forces Talent Specialist


After serving with The British Army in The Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) for 8 years, Nigel moved into the recruitment industry in 1999. Over 20 years he has successfully worked for both national and SME level agencies, working with a wide range of clients from multinational corporate organisations to start ups both in the UK and Overseas.

During this time Nigel has managed a wide range of recruitment projects including contingency, executive search, volume recruitment, and recruitment process outsourcing.


Nigel is responsible for the Service & Maintenance Engineering Division as well as heading up a specialism in Ex-Forces placements at Red Chilli Recruitment

Nigel’s experience is underpinned by his Fellow Membership of The Institute of Recruitment Professionals (FIRP). He is also an Associate for Work Horizons who are Organisational Renewal and Career Coaching specialists, providing leadership and career coaching for organisations and individuals.

Sarah Freemantle

IT & Data Security Specialist



Building on a successful career with one of the largest technology providers, Sarah is adept at recognizing the skills that underpin business growth through digital change. Having worked with UK firms across multiple sectors including Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Professional Services, Sarah brings together experience supporting SME’s and a proven ability to understand and articulate unique requirements.


With earlier career experience in Commercial Recruitment, having managed both temporary workers, permanent placements as well as managing a team of consultants, Sarah offers a professional, proactive & transparent approach to recruiting.


Whether it’s the nuts and bolts of IT Operations & Security, Cloud development, or unlocking the value in data, Sarah’s experience in technology environments and innate aptitude for building effective relationships ensures an outstanding recruitment experience.


Sarah is responsible for the IT & Data Security division at Red Chilli Recruitment

Beth Cox

Welding & Fabrication Specialist


After leaving college with a triple distinction star in Business, Beth has a strong business mindset that she transfers into her work. She delivers high levels of customer service, helping both clients and candidates with any needs they have.


She has undergone lots of training in recruitment and has now built up a very reputable client and candidate base.


Beth has placed many roles in the Engineering division both for permanent and contract placements.  With amazing search skills, she finds candidates who may not have been even looking for a job.


Beth is responsible for the Welding and Fabrication division at Red Chilli Recruitment

Since being with Red Chilli Recruitment, Beth has completed her Level 3 Apprenticeship as a Recruitment Consultant. Also, she has gained her REC Level 3 Certificate in Recruitment Practice.

Ed Hendrick

Finance and Accountancy Specialist



Edward has spent 30 years’ working within the recruitment industry with both national and independent agencies.

Starting his career, recruiting industrial staff and moving from a consultant to a regional manager, Edward has managed offices up and down the UK from Newcastle across to down Cardiff and down to the south coast with Southampton, Portsmouth and sunny Bognor Regis.

Over the years, Edward has partnered with a number of prestigious clients; The Bodyshop, Nissan, Birmingham FC, BMW, Lee Filters & Greggs to name a few.

The last 5 years have been spent focused on recruiting finance professionals for both corporate and SME businesses, from Management Accountants through to CFO’s.


Edward is responsible for the Finance and Accountancy division at Red Chilli Recruitment

Having worked in the recruitment industry for many years, Edward is able to deliver one off recruitment projects along with volume recruitment either via traditional contingency recruitment or through head-hunting.

Although focused on finance recruitment, Edward has also recruited across professional services and worked with his clients on marketing and procurement positions.

Once a half decent golfer, he is also able to offer free swing advice !!!
