We’re recruiting two experienced Composite Trimmers to join an established advanced composites manufacturer in Oxford, producing high-performance carbon fibre components for demanding engineering applications.

The Role

Working alongside an experienced production team, you’ll trim, finish and prepare advanced composite components to exact specifications before inspection and assembly.

Responsibilities include:

• Trimming cured composite components
• Using routers, air tools, diamond cutting equipment and hand tools
• Drilling and machining composite parts
• Edge finishing and cosmetic preparation
• Bond preparation
• Reading engineering drawings
• Working to tight tolerances
• Carrying out quality checks on finished components
• Supporting continuous improvement across production

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for Composite Trimmers with a minimum of three years’ experience working within advanced composites manufacturing.

You’ll ideally have experience of:

• Carbon fibre trimming
• Diamond cutting tools
• Routers and air tools
• Engineering drawings
• Aerospace, motorsport, Formula 1, automotive or other advanced composites manufacturing
• Producing high-quality cosmetic finishes

You’ll be someone who enjoys working to exacting standards and takes real pride in producing first-class work.
